Where are We

Welcome to St. Bridget Religious Education

We are committed to offering an opportunity for all persons to learn the basic tenants of the Catholic Faith, develop a sense of community, share the experience of Jesus and grow in the knowledge that we are loved by the one Father who created us.

Our program is comprised of a faith community dedicated to educate persons of all ages in basic Faith Formation based on the Pillars of the New Catechism. Our task is to pass on the Faith through the teaching of the Creed using various methods to assist all to internalize these concepts and grow in the knowledge of the Faith.

We admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of educational policies, admissions policies and other school-administered programs. We prepare all persons to receive the sacraments at an appropriate age determined by diocesan policy.

All students assist at the various liturgies by taking appropriate roles and applying the scriptures and the Life of Christ to their lives by the use of dialogue during the celebration of the Word.

Catholic values and moral teaching imbedded in the teachings and traditions of the Church, especially those concerning human sexuality, are explored through the Family Life Program taught at all levels.

The students of St. Bridget Religious Education are expected to behave in a manner consistent with Catholic values and moral teachings and demands the cooperation of students, parents, teachers and the administration. The students display a sense of commitment to a life dedicated to God through their prayer life.

We assist families to experience their Faith in a special way with their children through the Children’s Liturgy of the Word, the sacramental preparation programs and the many celebrations of the Eucharist and other various Liturgical celebrations throughout the year.

We serve all persons of the parish from birth, pre-school, kindergarten, and grades 1 through 8. All children of the parish day-school attend religion classes from Kindergarten through Grade 8 during the academic year. Children in Grade 1 through 8 not attending St. Bridget School attend classes weekly from September through May.
